Yesterday, Prudential Kansas City Realty became Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate ? Kansas City Homes. This is a new franchise name, but we have the same local owners and agents. The branding, the colors, website, and our yard signs are all changing this week, but that should be the only change that our customers and the public notice. I like the new brand, and I am impressed with the design and resources that Better Homes and Gardens provides to their affiliates.

To industry insiders, this news did not come as much of a surprise. According to recent news reports, Berkshire Hathaway recently purchased the real estate arm of Prudential Financial Inc., and the Prudential real estate brand will be eliminated across the country over the next couple of years. Berkshire Hathaway?s new real estate brand will be known as HomeServices.
