Because of Scarborough?s close proximity to Downtown and excellent TTC services condominiums are a very popular choice. There a few pockets I would like to highlight for your information. Now if we start from the east side near McCowan and Ellesmere, near the Scarborough Town Centre, there?s a whole hub of condominium buildings. Till date, Corporate Drive, built by Tridel is a very popular choice in that area.
Other than that we have Lee Centre Drive, Omni Drive and some buildings near Scarborough Town Centre that are very popular and always in demand. Another convenient location for condominiums in Toronto is Kennedy and Sheppard where we have Bonus Avenue which has some very sought after buildings. Another development that has come up nearby that is huge is Metro Gate by Tridel where it has Solarace and Avani. In all there are six buildings being built in that area. This area is very close to 401 and Kennedy.
Going a little bit further west on Birchmount and Ellesmere, there is another sought after cluster of buildings by the name of Mondeo Drive. If you go a little bit north of this near Warden and Steeles, a little bit older cluster of building can be found but very sought after and valuable nonetheless. These buildings are Bamburgh Circle. On the eastern side on McCowan and Steeles we have Alton Towers; once again those buildings are around 20 years old but are always in demand.
A lot of new constructions are also coming up on the western side near Victoria Park and Sheppard. There are many other smaller pockets also worth mentioning.
