As I mentioned I have a few DIY jobs to do this year, one of which I have started and will be finishing this weekend as its Easter and it looks like the weather won?t be great. I have ordered a new toilet and sink for our downstairs guest bathroom from UK Bathrooms which are due to be delivered this afternoon. I have removed the old toilet and sink and given the walls a fresh coat of paint.
After the sink and toilet have been fitted all that is left to do is tile the sink splash back and install new fittings such as loo roll holder and towel rail. It?s not too much of a big job for me to undertake and I have one of my mates coming round this aft to give me a hand because he has recently re done his bathroom so he knows what he is doing plumbing wise!
Luckily this DIY project is not too expensive, I got a really good price for the toilet and sink from UK Bathrooms and because they are white, they will go with any paint scheme really. I just can?t wait till its finished then I can have a rest, I sometimes feel like the missus is working me the bone, but at least I have a holiday to look forward to now, which I will tell you about next time!
