Kids have the freedom of exploring over 100 foods independently. They will earn lots of virtual stickers, rate the foods they try, and can assign their own avatar to personalize their journey.

The Choose My Food app was developed by the same team that created the Kids Food Adventure app. Feedback from parents of children with autism and special needs inspired them to make Choose My Food. It is designed specifically to help kids that are extremely picky eaters and that may have food sensitivity issues. Parents and feeding therapists now have a tool to help them introduce new foods.

Sticker groupings can be created to tackle different feeding issues. For example: If wet foods are a challenge, a sticker can be assigned to include healthy options like yogurt and applesauce. Once tried, kids get a "you've earned a sticker" message and can be proud to add it to their collection!

"You don't have to like it, but try it". Sound familiar? The hope is that kids will eventually like the healthy foods offered, but it may take many many attempts. In the meantime, kids can rate the foods and change the ratings when they change their minds. Choose My Food includes a long list of images of healthy fruits, vegetable and popular breakfast, lunch and dinner foods. The foods list, like the stickers, can be customized. To include a food of your choice, simply edit the food list and snap a photo with the iPhone/iPad camera.
